Cedar DNS-2000
Can I get some feedback on how well integrated the Cedar DNS-2000 is with ProTools, especially compared to the DNS-1000. There's a unit up on eBay, thinking about bidding but it's a whole lotta money!

It's a whole lotta money but is worth every penny and is cheap at twice the price, if you have the volume of work to justify a purchase instead of a rental.
It's easy to think of it like this: see the DNS-1000? See the switches? See the faders? They're all automated inside ProTools (real, dynamic automation you can ride, not snapshots). You just need a pair of inserts. If you have a ProControl or an ICON, you can flip the controls to the faders and you have real faders to play with like you have on the DNS-1000.
