Default Has there ever been a clear, definitive answer...

...for why Digi interfaces aren't multi-client capable? (broken record, broken record...)
It's so incredibly annoying not to be able to open, say, Recycle for some quick editing without closing PT or using a different audio out preference.
I did a search for this and all I got back was page after page of folks asking this question, but no official response. I suppose it's another marketing strategy, but wait - don't all digi interfaces suffer from this handicap (due to the drivers)? Or is it only the "cheap" ones?

-gnashing my teeth.
