M-Powered Crossgrade HELP
Hi,
I have Pro Tools M-Powered, version 8, and used to use an M-Audio Fast Track unit with the software. I've since gotten rid of the Fast Track unit (it was horrible and it eventually broke down), but I've been reading up on upgrading to PT10 and have found out I need the serial number from the Fast Track in order to activate the software. As I said I don't have the hardware any more, so is there any other way of activating the software? Cheers. |

Re: M-Powered Crossgrade HELP
You don't need the serial number from your hardware. That's only for Protools LE users.
For M-Powered, you have an Ilok license, and that's all you need to upgrade to PT10. At some point it will ask for your Ilok account name, and it will deposit the license to your Ilok account. You will then download it to your Ilok, and it will surrender the M-Powered license and give you the full PT10 license. |
