Digidesign 003 with PT 12.0 and Mac OS Mojave
I really want to buy a 003 but the threads I've seen here have had some pretty mixed reviews on if it will work or not. I'm running Pro Tools 12 on my 2019 Macbook Pro, which only has usb-c ports. I do have an adapter that allows me to use usb 2.0, I could potentially buy a firewire to usb 2.0 adapter and try that or firewire to thunderbolt. I really appreciate any information you guys are able to give me.

Re: Digidesign 003 with PT 12.0 and Mac OS Mojave
If you don't already own the 003, why not buy an interface that works with what you have? Presonus has several boxes that use USB-c right out of the box(Studio 1810c, Studio 1824c, etc). It doesn't make much sense to buy a 003(even though I am using one) as the ONLY way it will work is with multiple adapters to convert the MBP's Thunderbolt 3 down to TB1(or 2??) and then to firewire(the adapters will probably cost half the price of a Presonus box) You should also look at Focusrite, RME, MOTU
