PT 10 Digi 002 issue. please help

I currently had a fully working 9.0.5 with the latest drivers installed for my Digi 002. But after I installed PT 10 I get this message

"Pro Tools could not initialize the current playback device.Please make sure that the device has been configured correctly"

I tried to reinstall the 002 driver and the digidiomidi fix. and reinstallet pro tools 10 again, but same issue.

Anyone?

You need the updated 002-003 drivers here. Also mine seems to work without the midifix since the 002 drivers have been updated.

Thanks. but I just installed the latest driver
the latest v9.0r3 version.

Same message and Pro tools wont open.?

I run OSX 16.6.7

update:

Just uninstalled PT10 in safe mode

then. installed the newest 002 003 family driver again.

and Installed PT 10 again

nope. same issue

My Digi 002 works great in garageband BTW.

Hope someone can help. I`m stuck

Have you tried holding the N key down while booting Pro Tools? This opens the Playback Engine before Pro Tools boots up completely.

Exact same problem here. PT9 was working great last week with my Digi002. Upgraded to PT 10 and get the "hardware not installed or in use" error.

I can hold down the N button on startup and change the playback engine, which gets pt running, but cannot use any inputs from the digi002.

In a PT9 forum they suggests going into Library / preferences and trashing the "com.apple.audio.aggregatedevices" files. This isn't working for me either.

Have either of you guys tried a complete uninstall of PT first? Make sure to check the clean uninstall so it removes EVERY file on the computer. Afterwards install PTX. then the instruments, then the drivers.

Is PT10 supposed to be compatible with the 002? I have an 002, the documentation seems to say PT10 works with the 003 'family' - and it is unclear whether the 002 is part of this family or not? Has anyone succeeded in getting PT10 to work with an 002?
