Newbie pro tools le 7.0 pre fader metering
I've just started recording with a 002r with pro tools le 7. I've been recording a few years with an analog board to an ADAT recorder and I am familiar with pre and post fader monitoring. Should I have pre fader metering set to ON when setting my record input levels into pro tools? Also, when doing a final mix should I have pre fader metering de-selected? I tried to find the info on Digi's site and on the internet, but I couldn't find any specific info.
Thanks MWP |

Re: Newbie pro tools le 7.0 pre fader metering
You're right. Prefader for setting your input leves, and post fader (deselect prefader) when you mix. Simple as that
