Thing is ive been using pro tools for quite a few years now and I know nothing else is gonna come close!I just cant believe that I had better performance from a powerbook G4 1.33!That computer was solid running pro tools. This macbook pro has interrupts if you look at it the wrong way!If the screen saver activates it stops pro tools, even if you push the computers volume buttons it goes!It is fairly useless! This is not what I paid all that money for and I am extremely dissapointed with apple and digidesign! Are all the staff to busy playing with 7.4 to care now? This is hardly good customer support.

I've done some research on this and I do show we had reports of this and implemented a fix in 7.3.1cs4.

For anyone experiencing this issue, please confirm that you're running 7.3.1cs4.

This problem should ONLY occur on Intel Macs running the original Mbox. If you are using a PPC Mac or other Digidesign hardware, please start a new thread with your complete system profile and any troubleshooting you've tried.

If you are still experiencing 9136 errors, are on an Intel Mac and are running Pro Tools 7.3.1cs4 or higher, please post your complete system specs, including computer model, OS version, Pro Tools version, drives being used, any attached peripherals and any further details that may help us determine the source of the problem.

Macbook Pro 2.4ghz 15.4in

4gb ram

7200rpm internal drive

Mac OS 10.4.10

I hear ya. The LE software is buggy. At work we run HD , with minor issues, bugs, etc.

At home I have used LE since 001. It has not been a very smooth ride. It rapidly went downhill with 002R, now I am on mBox Pro, and it is more of the same. I don't think it is the device itself, because it runs like a tank with Logic 8. But I still think they have driver issues with their own software.

Did you upgrade your Mbox firmware to v. 22? I was having some similar issues and that seems to have cleared it up.
