Default SUGGESTION: how to make Playlists more usable for Post

Monday morning idea's flying around my head!

Was thinking that probably why people dont use playlists for Post is cos its difficult to reconform with playlists. so was thinking...

If there was an option that you could tick on or off which was:

'Playlists follow edits on main track (for conforming)'

So that any cut / copy / paste / shuffle etc actions during conform are also carried out on the playlist tracks whilst the checkbox is ticked.

I imagine it as a setting you would only switch on when conforming and would be off all the rest of the time. Don't imagine it would be too difficult to implement and I feel it would make playlists way more usable for post situations.

Yes! It's a no-brainer. Has also bitten me in the past with drum and vocal playlists after I re-structure a track.

Really wish they’d implement this. I suggested similar feature some years back in the ideas scale thang.

This would also be massively useful in music production.
Come on Avid.

I've been wishing this for years. I've seen it pop up every now and then on IdeaScale, but I'd love to see it implemented.

Having an option to click on to have Playlists follow Edit (like how there is one for Automation follows Edit) would be immensely useful.
