Default Re: iMac 2017 / High Sierra / ProTools 12.8.3 ... the worst combination ??

This still has not been resolved. 2019.5 still makes editing unbearably stuttery when a high resolution display is connected.

iMac Pro
- MacOS 10.14.6
- Pro Tools U HDN 2019.6
- Avid HD Omni + HD I/O 8x8x8

Use the default resolution for the 5k screen and then show Info on the Pro Tools app. There you can find a low resolution mode. Tick that box and choose srgb as mentioned before and it Will give you a lot faster computer. And a bit uglier :)
