Eucon sees my Artist Mix as an MC Mix

Hey all,

Maybe this is normal, but when I plug in my new Artist Mix, Eucon 3.5 identifies it as "MC Mix" in the My Surfaces windows. Show Info shows the same thing. Does this matter in the functionality of the Eucon Settings? Or in general?

That's normal. Make sure you've updated the firmware if it is new. Old Artist stuff (stuff that goes back to Euphonix even if it is now black and has a purple AVID icon) shows up that way.

New stuff (Dock, Control, etc.) show up with "PT|" ahead of the name.

You'll also notice that registration works that way too -- old stuff still has to be registered to the Euphonix portal while new stuff goes into the Avid account. It's dumb they haven't merged this but it also most likely means at some point the Artist division will be dissolved and new things will come out of the "S" group to replace them.
