I remember reading an article recently about GC which had huge amount of debts and some companies were now in the process of collecting on them. It may simply be that they do not have the means to carry certain products anymore until their books are back in the black.

GC is having their Easter blow out sale the end of this month. Will be interesting to see at the local one what they have left in the store.

My local GC is not very large, and honestly, I don't buy much from them very often, but I was in the store a few weeks ago to procure an emergency headphone cable replacement. ( I guess I ran over the old one with the chair too many times). But anyway, I was shocked to see the sparseness of the gear. Amps were like 1/3 of what had been there a few months ago. Guitars were the same.

And GC is over charging for the 11 Rack. $200 US cheaper at Sweetwater. B&H has it at $620 US but you have to add it to your cart to see that price.

Keep in mind that B&H also charges shipping (at least $20 for this), so factor that in as well.
