Default Thoughts on Akai S2000 sampler for live with reasn

Hey guys, i know the S2000 isnt the greatest sampler but... for the money.... I found a nice S2000 with a 100mb zip drive for like 100 bucks. I need a sampler so via midi i can trigger samples of voices and bass hits and stuff like that live for my band. I play keys in Euphoric Grey and I need to be able to map samples across the midi keyboard and have a stable sampler for playback. you guys think it'd do the job? I dont feel like spending 400-500 for the MPC and I cant afford a E4 either. Let me know guys. I need an alternative to triggering samples other than my laptop. I"ll have the laptop for playing piano and synth stuff from reason. Please help me guys, thanks alot.

Why not set up the samples etc, in the NNXT?

Is there a way to use an NNXT and an NN19 together?
Like say i wanna have one keyboard via midi triggering the NNXT and then another keyboard plugged in triggering say, Strings on the NN19

unfortunately, no, Reason only allows one midi input at a time.

My S2000 works great for me. Its easy to set up keymaps and such. I have 32 Meg Ram and a 1 Gig Jaz drive on it for storage. Its easy to layer the samples as well. IT DOESNT CRASH ON ME!!!
