Default Soundtrack Pro!!??

Just had a look at Apple's Soundtrack Pro...Lots of features for very little money. For a 'opening gambit' i think it is a very serious piece of post software. Anyone else got any thoughts?

Take a close listen to the QuickTime movies that demonstrate the products abilities. You'll notice that in the before and after sections, there are two distinctly different pieces of audio. I can only assume that this product is designed for people who either don't listen to what they're doing or are just video editors that think that anybody can do audio.

perhaps both.

according to some folks that went to NAB, Quicktime now has 24 IN as well as OUT. Which means you can use Apple apps to do multitrack recording. YAY! now anyone that can download limewire thinks they can do post. Add to that the fine array of new free AU plug-ins, and I can only imagine...

there goes the neighborhood. Now we know how the Video guys feel.
