Default HD driver unsigned. HD Native card not available.: temp solution

Problem:
HD Native card installed on a Windows 10 Pro system, but not showing up in Protools 12.7.1.

Trouble shooting:
I have gotten the HD native card to appear in device manager. However, the driver is digitally unsigned and Windows will not use the driver as a result. Right clicking on the HD Native Driver in device manager and going to properties > general, Windows gives me the following under "device status": Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)
We have tried allowing Windows to allow unsigned drivers but this did not work.

Temporary solution:
It was suggested that we disable secure boot and it does appear to work now. Ideally, Avid will release working drivers with the correctly signed certificate. Your move Avid.

Just as an FYI, this only affects systems running UEFI. If you are still running. A standard mbr, it won't affect you.

Secure boot is in your bios. There is no exact direction because it will vary from board to board.

Interesting, because on my PC, running W10 Pro Creator I don't have an issue with 12.7.1, the driver appears signed and I have a UEFI bios. I loaded up W10 LTSB Pro and the HD driver shows up unsigned and I have to remove the PK in the BIOS to disable secure boot. Filed a case; Avid is aware of the issue and said they are working with Microsoft. Avid said they changed there driver signing with 12.6. Hopefully they get it addressed.
