Default Power Engine 60

Hi all
I am looking at getting a new amp for the studio and some live use and this little box seems to fit the bill. Any one use one? or know of the the quality of these amps?
Thanx in advance my fellow tone junkies.

Default Re: Power Engine 60

the power engine 60 isn't an amp; it's a powered extension cabinet. it has no preamp. what you want is the trademark 60, which IS the guitar amp version of the power engine 60. the preamp has 2 channels, and it's a bloody great sounding amp for only $515 or so. if you then add a power engine, you can run a stereo setup, using the preamp of the trademark 60 to drive both. good luck!
