Cd cracked in half....

My pro tools cd for what ever reason cracked in half in side the case. This is for pt8le. I have the serial number and my mbox(my harddrive crashed) and have not been able to mix for the past week for my producers. Where can i get a download of the software so i can put in my serial key?

It's available for download as soon as you register it- you should have registered your software already- log in to your Avid account and it should be there...

Not true. The software is not added to an Avid Account when you register a boxed copy of the software or if the software was included with an interface, only when you buy an online/download version of the software.

We have sent the installer (via DigiDelivery) to swedishsteel after confirming his registration.

I bought this before it was avid. back when it was digidesign. Its registered but having an avid account isnt going to help

Even when it was MyDigi, software was not added to an account when it was purchased as a boxed copy or when included with an interface.

We sent you an email with a DigiDelivery link to download the installer - please check your DUC email address (including spam folder).

I think, since you have a code already, that you can go to the Avid store and buy a replacement disk for $14.95. If you registered, then you should have a MyAvid account to log into, and that should link you to the downloads that you are entitled to(in my MyAvid account, I can download 7.3 on up to 8, but curiously, not PT9 which I also own).

The replacment CD set is a good idea. Call me cautious but I keep actual isks around as a precuation.

Did you buy a boxed copy of PT9, or a download/crossgrade version?
