Solo but other tracks are still playing....

Hello. I'm fairly new to Pro tools, I have 12 by the way.
I've imported a song into Pro Tools... About 15 tracks. I would like to solo the piano and make some edits, but when I Solo the piano track, other tracks are still playing. I checked to make sure solo mode was not on. Also, there's no group on when I'm doing this.

Also, I noticed that when imported the files from Ableton,and I loaded it into pro tools, when the tracks are playing,they seem to be peaking kind of hot. Even when I turned the fader all the way down, im still hearing the track.

please help....

Welcome to the community.

There's probably tracks solo-safed and/or with pre-fader sends somewhere.

You hear the track with the fader all the way down? There must be routing issues somewhere in the session.

Have you tried creating a new session?
