Ugly noise from Waves Doubler when used in Pro Tools
When Waves Doubler is selected on an insert it emits an extremely ugly maxed out random noise. A few of the patches seem to work and it seems to work with Cubase (Studio 4).
Any of you guys out there have the same problem? |

[Solved] Ugly noise from Waves Doubler when used in Pro Tools
I contacted Waves support and here's the full repair procedure:
1. Go to: Start Menu > Settings > Control Panel. 2. Select Regional and Language Options. 3. Click on the Customize button. 4. Make the following changes: Decimal symbol: . (dot) Digit grouping symbol: , (comma) List separator: , (comma) Negative number format: -1.1 Issue is that Waves stuff is only fully supported under English (US). Furthermore it was stated that this is a very old known issue. Maybe it is time to make a correction then? |
