Default Help with Structure Free on 2 Tracks

Can I have two audio tracks with Structure Free inserted on each track, the Studio Drums loaded in each;

and then route a midi kick track to one audio track, and a midi snare track routed to the other?

I can only seem to get one going...

Hi,

Should be fine running 2 or more!

What happens when you try to insert a second structure?

Does it open? any error messages?

Chris

I would use instrument tracks for VI plugins. There should be no problem using more than 1.

What happens when I insert a second Structure Free, is, that it opens, and appears to be working, but then I'm unable to get it to receive any input from the second midi track I've routed to it, no matter which midi port/channel assignments I try. My immediate suspicions are that Structure Free cannot be used in multiple instances; or that I'm not accessing the Studio Drums patch correctly...

Right, I would typically use an Instrument Track for VIs... but I have previously created midi tracks that I need to use, so I need to route them to Audio Tracks, correct?

In that case, instantiate the VI's on Aux tracks like the 'good old days' !!

I did finally discover that I wasn't routing the second midi track correctly to the second instance of Structure Free; didn't notice that it was identified as such in the dropdown menu (Structure Free 2, Port A, Channel 2, etc)
