Frequent 9171 since adding OWC Accelsior 4M2 drives to HDX

Well, I tried a session on the boot drive, and still hit the exact same errors (there were no samples or other items using the extern SSD, so it was a clean test).

So, I went to the next step and pulled the SSD drive from the chassis entirely...and in the process damaged my HDX card, specifically the power socket ��

Temporary installed a Focusrite USB I/O to at least get something working again. Just for fun, I put the OWC SSD back in the chassis w/o the HDX. No errors, everything very smooth.

I'm going to get the HDX card repaired, but I'm also curious about 3rd party Thunderbolt at this time, given the misadventures that I have had recently.

I’m using an Antelope Audio Orion Synergy core, I also used it with a UAD ApolloX8

How do like the Antelope? I'm definitely intrigued by the Discrete Synergy for its preamps - but also keep coming across questions about software stability, support, etc.

I like the Antelope, I don’t think the software is as good as UAD but, it sounds better to my taste and the routing flexibility is awesome... I have been a long time user of UAD and they make a very good product
But when then went the whole Luna thing I just decided that was not a path I wanted to go... I wish UAD would have worked on the mixer rather than creating a new DAW...
