Glad I waited until later in the year to actually get PT 12 in the beginning. Mine does not update until late Sept.. At least that is better than most people.

Sorry if I missed this, but is there a list of upcoming additions for 12.8 besides Dolby Atmos? After seeing the info on HHB Scrub, 12.8 seems to be largely a debut of Atmos integration. I'd be very disappointed this release is Dolby-only at the expense of all the user request features/fixes piling up over the years.

Avid should have released an 12.7.xx fix update at least for the many non HD users in the meantime. Something else must be up behind their doors.

And just FYI..Atmos isn't a brand new technology. Bigger post houses running Atmos dub stages for many years on HD 10 or 11.
