Default transposing digi grand and db33...

Is it possible to transpose either of these a half step down? I write in e-flat and id like to play in tune in real time. I dont write MIDI and I dont see a "transpose" key anywhere? Any thoughts?

If you have a transpose button on your controller that would do it. At least it does on mine.

Not sure about the digi grand and the db33 but this does work with velvet and all my other VIs.

You can do it using REAL TIME PROPERTIES. Click VIEW > EDIT WINDOW VIEW > REAL TIME PROPERTIES. Then use TRN to do real-time transpose by octave or semitone.

What is recorded to the track is the actual data coming from the MIDI controller, so Eb3 = Eb3. But if the TRN is +2 semitones, then the instrument will sound F3. I believe this is what the OP is looking to do. If you want to make it permanent you can use transpose or open the Real-Time Properties window and Write to Track/Region.

Thanks for the advice guys. If I want to get a good VI for piano sounds( that would include the sound of the damper pedal) that would already have a "transpose" knob on the UI what would you guys recommend?
