MIDI notes erased while recording 2nd time on a same track?

This is strange, how come that when recording second take on certain midi track then the previous notes are being erased from that track and replaced by new ones??

I would just like to ADD some new notes there by playing but it don't seem to work that way. Is there any place where I can disable this and be able to record new notes in addiition to old ones?

Also, if you want to loop record you actually need to enable both loop playback and MIDI merge to keep adding new notes on each pass.
