Not enough room on the log...

DJ's will understand. I'm on the air right now and I'm playing "So You Want To Be A Rock 'n' Roll Star" by the Byrds. Being quite unfamilar with the song I quoted the music log which only had enought room to say "So You Want To Be A Rock". What an idiot. I even went as far to say, "Why would you want to be a rock when you're already a bird?"

Back in the stone age when I was on the air, we had to pick our music manually and cue it up on the turntable most of the time. One station I worked at used carts (tape), another cassettes. And we filled in the log by hand, so I never ran into your problem, the song titles were always available in full. We've come a long way, haven't we. [img]images/icons/wink.gif[/img]
