Ver 19.9.108 causing me issues

Bloody hell. I woke up to find my damn ipad updated by itself.. I swore I turned off auto update off! Kept getting pro-tools control app was I compatible message !

Anyways I updated eucontrol app on mac and now ...

iPad and protools 2019.6 and Artist control are now messed up! Pro-tools will see my Artist control but the moment I launch ipad app pro-tools spins beachball!! I had a sweet system running super smooth and now I'm faced with this.

Avid how do I fix this issue asap!

I opened protools 1st. Deselcted eucon in peripherals and then booted the eucontrol software ...

I then launched the hardware and software units and after they were recognized in the eucontrol I re-engage the eucon peripherals in protools . Seems to work again..

Also note there is a weird anomaly I've been experiencing since the beginning...
If I launch protools control and artist control at the same time the hardware keys on the artist control dont work. I have to close the iPad app and let the artist control re-engage and then test the soft Keys / hardware buttons on the artist control to make sure they work, once confirmed i then launch the ipad app. I also cannot show the soft keys on the app as that will somehow break the connection with the Artist control buttons .. very odd !


I'm also noticing the behavior of plugins not opening on screen anymore as I click on tracks or clips .. not sure if I have the proper settings. Attached are my current settings as I had before for plugins or EQ etc.. they would pop up on screen as I clicked tracks or actual clips now I have to touch ipad screen everytime am I missing a new setting ?

Open plugins/sends/pans on selected tracks is not working here either.
Close is working though.

It should be opening whatever is displayed on the surface thats selected in Open Windows on WS when knobs assigned from DAW

Pans seem to be broken now . Can't control divergence anymore they keep snapping back and wont engage.. little balls work but that's it ... what happened here
Attached is how they look now. You'll notice those divergence lines are closed and they dont open ....all they do is snap closed when I try to open them up .

Follow up..on pans and plugins...

Nothing seems to follow my clicks anymore ..previous version Pans would and plugins would open and close on every click on a new track or audio clip and now all seems not to work anymore. Also seems pans in app are really messed up .

Any idea why? Could this be related to the Artist Control and iPad app not being compatible to each other?


Like i was saying before all those soft key hardware buttons on the Artist mix wont work if I launch the iPad app 1st ..

Next question is how the hell do o revert back?! Pans are all messed up.

I Downgraded ipad . I had a back up thank god of 19.7.00.95 . Resolved all issues !
New version isn't working for me. My os on ipad is still 12.3.1.

I'd like some feed back as to why this messed everything up and hopefully you'll look onto this Butron issue with the Artist control and ipad app running together
