Did it give you a parallel pt12 install in addition to you pt11? I'm looking at doing this and would like to keep my pt11 intact.

You may want to consider Pro Tools 12.2 as Avid has added a nice list of HD features in 12.2 and a lot of bug fixes as well as Pro Tools 11 is never getting anymore updates.

Apart from HD goodies, 12.x is much more stable & easy on cpu. I´m not going back to 11.x

The only time I ever work on 11, is when I'm at a studio where 12 is not available. I see no advantage using 11 for the work I do.
