The bad news is, I think you are required to update WUP before you can transfer ownership

not if you are selling the whole account All you need to do is change the user profile info - so it's a free transfer when selling the whole account

This is true, just did this last month, even works when sync'n to the same USB drive ( the same as your original account )
What version of Platinum, and the others? Gold
