Long Firewire cable runs
Has anyone had any experience in using firewire cabel as long as 30 feet using a firewire repeater of course to connect from CPU to external hard drive. Will Pro Tools have any issues.

Ive found both firewire and usb repeaters to cause problems with drives and devices even over a few feet. I think the maximum length for usb is around 30 feet, firewire not too sure. Might have better luck with an eSATA drive, and will be faster too.
