Default 7.3 iLok asset question

Should there be a 7.3 back-up asset deposited in ones account? I had my asset deposited right away, but no back-up. Past practice of Digi would be yes, a back-up should be there, but I haven't heard any discussion on this, anyone?

I received both a primary and backup license deposit from Digi in my iLok account for 7.3HD.

I recieved both as well. You should send tech support an email and they should resolve it in a day or two.

Yea, sent my request to Digi 3 days ago, and nothing yet. What has been the normal turnaround time fro Digi CS?

i'm leaving my backup on the ilok site in case my ilok goes down

at least i can boot PT

waves is a different tale

It is now 18 days later and still no contact from DigiCS or the back-up asset on my iLok account.

I'd phone CS if I were you. I waited two weeks for my 7.3 asset and info on upgrading some of my plugins. Then I called CS and, after waiting 30 minutes on hold, had the problem fixed in 15 minutes.

I never did hear back from the CS emails I sent.

I think Digi is having a hard time right now.

Mitch - I could not find an email in our system from you - I searched by your name and the email address in your profile. What email address did you use to contact Customer Service?

Another backup strategy is to download the backup PT7.3 asset to a different iLok than your primary asset is on. That's what I did. Either way, it seems like a good thing to separate these licenses.
