Command|8 (Offline) with Pro Tools 10
Hi All,
Having problems getting my Command|8 to FULLY sync with Pro Tools 10. Problem: It reads: Command|8 (Offline) Pro Tools 10 does respond to fader movements, knobs, transport and so on but an error message to the effect of Pro tools 10 not being able to find Command |8 midi device keeps popping up every few seconds. (Paraphrasing cos I'm at work right now) Actions: When I first plugged in the Command |8 after installing Pro Tools 10, Windows automatically said "Driver installed and ready for use". I still proceeded to installing: •Command|8 Driver for Windows v9.0 . The problem above (2nd paragraph) occured, and then I installed •Command|8 Installer v8.0 (Windows) . Still same problem. I have gone to the Setup, Peripherals, MIDI and selected Command|8 for both input and output on the first color thingy but it still reads offline There is no firmware updater in my Command|8 folder either, just drivers and .sys info files Any suggestions will be deeply appreciated. THANKS IN ADVANCE GUYS (Dell Studio XPS 9100, Windows 7, Intel Core i7-960 processor(8MB L2 Cache, 3.20GHz) |

Re: Command|8 (Offline) with Pro Tools 10
Very same problem in Mac world. Command 8 says Offline. USB light sometimes does not come on. Just dead. Anyone have any ideas for Mac OSX 10.8.5?

Does Command|8 work with Pro Tools 11?
Hello Friends,
I am thinking of upgrading my Pro Tools 7.4 to Pro Tools 11. I see I need to upgrade my MAC PRO Tiger 10.4.11 to Mountain Lion 10.8.6. Then I need to add a new ILOK2 and finally upgrade my memory from 4GB to 8GB. Does Pro Tools 11 work with Command 8?...ALSO, has anyone else done this before and are there any issues or tips you can suggest? Thanks a million!! (I hope all this doesn't cost that much!) LOL!!
