Default Xpand 2 "Out of Range"?

I'm working on a project on which I use Xpand!2 on 7 tracks. On the 2 of them, below the clip name in the edit window it says "Out of Range."

What does this mean? Is this something I should worry about?

Hmmm, never seen that, but I don't do tones of Xpand stuff. It may be that the midi notes are above or below the range of the "patch" used in the plugin. Maybe try transposing up/down and octave(or two) and see what happens

Thanks--I've never seen it either. I'll try that, although everything seems normal with those tracks (they sound as they should).

I must sheepishly admit that I don't know what the numbers below the clip name represent.

A quick guess....are they the start and end time of the clip?

I don't think so. It may have something to do with regions, but I can't make sense of any pattern.

Looking at the project I'm working on, the vocal track says

vocal
0/4/830
120/3/947

and the bass track says

bass DI
0/4/830
123/4/290

(I've made the common numbers red).

But other tracks have completely different numbers.

I have no idea.

http://duc.avid.com/showpost.php?p=1101521&postcount=2

Region Says "Out Of Range"

“The session start time is later than the region's time stamp. You can either change the session start time or turn off the Region timestamp display in the View menu.”

Thanks for weighing in.

Are there pros and cons for changing the session start time or turning off the display?
