Default Eucon 3.0 Features
Anyone knows anything about the new features with Eucon 3.0, and is the release date the same as PT11?

There seem to be no new features. They talked about it shortly, saying they only optimized Eucon for PT11.

I'm not too sure about that. Not that we have any info as of yet, but v3 is rumored to have been pushed forward a bit.

In other thread here, one of the EuCon people from Avid posted saying that they were working on a 'very big overhaul' of EuCon. At the time he claimed that they were in final Beta testing. I assume this is EuCon 3.0. He wouldn't say what they were doing, but indicated in that thread that it was much more than a bug release, or compatibility release.

E3 is going to address a lot of connectivity, performance, and stability issues.
It took a lot of effort to support legacy surfaces and adapters in DAWs and NLEs so that we didn't have to force people to write new code or buy new surfaces.
