Mono Uad plugins with PT|control

when trying to add a uad mono plugin with the control app and i go to manufacturer and choose universal audio the function view doesn't change to show the uad plugins it still shows manufacturer instead of the uad plugins. now the funny thing is if I click on the desktop or anywhere off of protools they show up but the function view does not correspond to whats on the slots on the side panels. when choosing a multi channel or stereo plugin it works as it should. can someone try to reproduce this. I'm running pro tools 18.4, eucon 18.3.0.244, the latest appset, uninstalled eucon used the euphonic cleanup app, trashed pro tools pref. running sierra on 2015 iMac 32gb ram

can someone try to pull up a mono plugin using the dock and see if all of the menus correspond to the controls on the knobs? especially uad
