Default Anyone using pt 12?

Just checking. I just switched over. I gotta say it seems like a much better version of 11. Anything I need to watch out for?

Video engine seems better, I am getting less errors. 12 seems more stable. The I/o improvements are working great. Maybe it's just the fresh install or something but I am having a great experience with 12.

I was an early adopter of 12. No regrets. It's very stable. I've only crashed it a few times: twice when opening big sessions, and once when instanciating a VI.

It's never crashed during mixing or recording. Video seems better than 11. Not sure why.

12 has been working great for me. Been using it for about a month or so. Worked 16 hours straight yesterday with no crashes or long hangups.

What's the video engine version number of PT 12?

Well, this is funny. If you Show Package Contents of the Pro Tools 11.3.1 and 12.0.0 apps and drill down to find the AvidVideoEngine app, they're both version 7.0.3.1.

I think that's called the placebo-effect then.

Bounce to Disk does not remember your last settings, you always have to change it if you use anything but the default bussing.
