Default PT10 Workspace
Why it takes a second to preview samples in workspace if you have timeline running? If stopped then samples play immediately. Kinda hard preview oneshot samples in context..

Is this the way program work or maybe someone could tell me a workaround?

How does it work for you? If you have a song playing and then previewing samples from the workspace? Is there a delay? Without elastic audio button pressed of course.

Don't think the system got nothing to do with it. If I use another program (Audiofinder) no problems whatsoever :)
But if you must know I have 8-core Macpro and os 10.8.5 enough ram' and stufff.

8Gb Ram
Opel Vectra -91

Okay,

All i wan't to know is:

When previewing samples in workspace (while timeline is stopped) samples play instantly when you click on them BUT if timeline is running THEN there is 0,5sec break before you hear the sample. Is there something wrong with my system or is it how the program works? It's so annoying.

Could you or someone else test this quickly? I just wanna know..

Using a dedicated recording drive, or recording to the system drive. Is "Countoff" on, or disabled?
