2 001\'s in 1 pc?
Hi guys.
I just have a quick question. Is it possible to use 2 001's in one system? If not is there a way to use them on 2 pcs, but in the same session? Thx Ruba |

Re: 2 001\'s in 1 pc?
thx for the quick reply
By synchronizing them u need hardware? And is it worth doing? What i was hoping to do was to record drums with more than 8 mic's and without buying more hardware Ruba |

Re: 2 001\'s in 1 pc?
The cost of a second 001 and computer would be as much as getting an 8 channel lightpipe pre/converter. Check inot the Presonus Digimax and Focusrite Octapre.
You can sync the two separate 001 systems via MMC/MTC. However you could not edit simultainiously across both, only record/playback. Also, they would both be running their own sessions, not the same session. |

Re: 2 001\'s in 1 pc?
You don't need any additional hardware to synchronize the two systems...just a spdif cable and a midi cable.
