How to close plug-in window after editing

I want my plug-in window to automatically close after editing, here are my steps:

1- Push Insert
2- Push the Rotary button to choose my plug-in (its window will open)
3- Push Expand to spill the plug-in parameter on the rotary button
4- Once I finish editing, I push Expand + Config to go back to state #2, BUT the plug-in window remains open….Is there a way for it to close automatically ?

The quick answer is - if you press Input, Bus or Group on the process module, it will close any window that was opened while traversing through encoder menus.

With that said, I would highly recommend exploring some workflows using "Open Windows on Knob Touch" instead of "Open Windows on Workstation When Knobs Assigned".

I'm aware about pressing Input, Bus or Group to close the plug-in window but i was hoping to find a way for the s6 to automatically close when i finish editing.

Your suggestion "Open Windows on Knob Touch" instead of "Open Windows on Workstation When Knobs Assigned"...is this in the preferences ? If so where is it ? Thx
