Video playback issues (stuttering)
Hello everybody,
I'm having some problems with the video engine in PT 11.3.1 on Windows 10. There are certain sections in the film I'm working on that get stuttery every time I play them back. The amount of stuttering is also somewhat random. Sometimes it is more or less but it is always over the same 10 second sequence. Overall the entire film feels like a few frames have gone missing or it is skipping some whilst viewing it. It feels unpleasant and sluggish to work with. I can watch the film side by side with the original on the desktop which is silky smooth and consistent. My PC is using about 10-30% of it's total computing power and everything is running off of SSDs. I just don't know what to do. The irregularities in frame rate are also in the Quicktime bounces. I can't deliver this to a client. I've tried opening the session on different PCs and it's always the same. Also I've tried putting the film in a session by itself and it stutters as well. I made a Sandra report if that helps.
