PT 11.3: Disappearing session backup files

Weird situation: I was working for many hours on a project yesterday until well after midnight.

For the record, my session files live on an internal data drive with >1 TB of free space. I'm on Win 7 Pro 64X.

When I opened this project today I happened to I look in the Session File Backup folder and there were backups for 07/09 and 07/11, but none for the many hours on 07/10.

Separate from PT, I use a data backup program that backs up my Pro Tools project folder (which includes all projects) to another internal data drive evry night @ 10 pm.

I just checked last night's backup on that drive and sure enough there are 10 session backup files from 07/10.

I'm trying to determine why these would be missing from the native folder.

Any ideas?

It's a concern because I made major changes yesterday I was unsure of and was checking in case I wanted to revert to an earlier version.

Just wondering if anyone has ever run into this.

Hi , one think comes to my mind here . Check the disk allocation on that sessions that appears emty and see where the files are pointing to .
