Question Plugin graphics (GUI) not loading/displaying properly???

Ever since 8, I've been having an issue from time to time where the plugin GUI will not load and the plugin isn't usable. It seems to happen when I have a decent amount of plugins loaded. I've noticed it mainly with the stock compressor and EQ III, Smack compressor, and if I use more than 6 instances of my Sonnox Limiter VST, it happens with that as well. And today, it started happening with Speakerphone. CPU usuage barely has a dent in it when it occurs. And it occurs with both the onboard graphics and my PCI grahpics card. Anyone else experience this?

Try backing down hardware acceleration one notch from full right.
Right click on the desktop, select Properties>settings>advanced>troubleshoot.

Cool! That helped. Still a little glitchy, but at least I can get them to work now! I had to drop the accelerator down two notches from full right. Thanks!

Why does this happen though?

Question Re: Plugin graphics (GUI) not loading/displaying properly???

Also, when buying 4GB of ram (for my 4 slot mobo), is it best to get "2 x 2GB" or "4 x 1GB"?

As for upgrading the mobo, would one of these along with some new DDR3 work with my Inspiron 530 case?: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...13-128-418-Z01

For your motherboard I think 4GB is the limit, but if you were to change motherboards you would be better off with 2X4 RAM as would allow for an upgrade. Also you can buy faster RAM and run it at reduced speed until you may decide to upgrade.

1. Yeah, 4GB is the size limit, but I meant speed limit. Is 800Mhz the max speed I can use with my current mobo?

2. Is that referring to my current motherboard?

Now that I do some more research though, I don't think I can change motherboards with my computer. The I/O panel isn't removable!
