Win XP - Up-grade or full version

I'm thinking of going with the up-grade from Win me to XP home. I run nothing but PT Le and Waves Platinum and I'm not sure of what to be ready for or how to prime the system....
My Win me runs great with an Athlon XP2000... so I'm thinking that an upgrade should take with no problems.
Any one out there have any troubles with Waves / Win upgrade...???

The only difference with an upgrade or a full version is that you'll be asked for your win98 or winME cd if you do a clean install. It is best to do a clean install of winxp, not an update

If you have a choice, ALWAYS do a clean install with a full version no matter which O/S you are going to use.

I just went with XP full Home Version on a clean partition of my primary drive (20G for 98; 20G for XP). Absolutely love it so far! Running dual boot for now, but will adandon 98 once everything is safely operating with XP. So far have installed PTLE 5.3, (w/wave driver), Acid 4.0, Sound Forge Studio 6.0, and Roxio Easy CD Creator and everything seems to be working like a charm.
