Hey everyone I'm back I need a little help I need to figure out how to get sound out of my pro tolls rig I have a Pro Control mixer and 2 192's running can someone please help I thought I had this figured out.

I have 2 db-25 male to male. to make sound or recorded? do i connect the outputs from the 192 to the inputs2 on the pro control? and if so what do i do after that. if there is anything else to do

in simple terms:
192 outs > Pro Control Monitor ins > Pro Control Monitor outs > speakers and headphone system

Hey everyone:

I was wondering if I could get some help setting up my digidesign pre with my pro tools right as you know I have a Pro Control with a digidesign Midi,192 i/o and also sync and a few db-25 male to male. I just need some help getting my rig to recognize my pre I have a analog input and output card in my 192 and i have a core card everything is working in order but the pre. HELP PLEASE

you have to set the Pre up via MIDI
do you have a MIDI interface in your rig

yes I do I have a digidesign midi I/O connected to my computer via usb

I know this may sound stupid, In the properties diolog box when enabling a channel is blue enable or disable?

I did everything in setup as followed and I am continuing to get the message " Pro Tools is unable to communicate with PRE #1 om MIDI input port PRE, channel 1. Please power cycle the unit and check connections. What I'm I doing wrong PLEASE HELP
