I would so much love it that each mailing list would ask me yearly whether I want to keep receiving those mails. Some of them I would skip at that point.

That e-mail makes me laugh.
I sent a couple questions to them via e-mail, never got an answer.
I bought Phoenixverb 2nd hand, resold it after a couple weeks and never missed it.
Just a question of taste, as I like reverbs with some character.
Phoenixverb tasted like nothing.
I'm not losing any sleep without them.

Haha ... Avid just got a +1 ... even Avid wouldn't prune an eList, it's just bad business, but to actually SEND me an email and INSULT me ... Ha!

Wow! This is pretty weird but I must say Avid has done some weird things too, like deleting previous Pro Tools Version from your account and if you need to go back to a certain previous installer you have to contact them to get a download link. Who does that? Most software companies keep legacy installers available for download. I do hope that changes in the near future.
