Pro Tools 12 not seeing USB MIDI controller
I've got a Pro Tools HD Native system, 2016 MacBook Pro Touch Bar and an Akai MPK49. The MPK is connected to the MBP through a Thunderbolt 2 hub (USB from keyboard into Thunderbolt 2 hub then Thunderbolt 2 cable from hub into USB-C adapter into MBP). In Pro Tools settings under Midi Controllers I would usually see the keyboard but now I only see "Euphonix MIDI, Euphonix Port 1" to 4. Any ideas on how to get this thing working again?

Can you try it without the hub? Some devices will not work correctly through a hub.

Re: Pro Tools 12 not seeing USB MIDI controller
Yay, another cable to buy. I'll have to get a USB to Thunderbolt 3/USB-C adapter to see.

Re: Pro Tools 12 not seeing USB MIDI controller
I upgraded to 10.12.1 when avid qualified it and MIDI stopped working. Narrowed it down to my interface. Luckily I never got rid of my Babyface which works perfectly. Not everyone can be as awesome as RME. So, maybe check your interface drivers.

Avid HD Omni interface. But would the interface matter if the controller was being plugged into the computer? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
