Being you've not given any system info other than you have a Mac and the Project Mix I can't give specific info but only general things. The Project Mix is a Firewire device so you'll need adapters to go from whatever ports the computer has to Firewire. Once you have everything hooked up and drivers installed you'll need to look at the documentation for Logic to see how to get it to recognize the interface & control features.

Indeed^ Assuming the MBP has firewire, a simple FW800-FW400 cable. If the MBP only has Thunderbolt, you need 2 adapters; TB-FW800, and FW800-FW400. Remember that the ProjectMix is unsupported, so nobody really knows when it will simply not work anymore due to some OS or Pro Tools update

Mac laptops haven't had FW ports in quite a while so it's adapter city for sure. Also the op is asking about getting it working with Logic Pro X which is way beyond me. I think LPX wants Sierra at a minimum.
