Why do I have to keep logging in here?

Hello,

I’m using an iPad Pro and whenever I login here to the avid pro audio community it’ll make me login several more times. Sometimes I’ll finish posting a reply or creating a post and when I hit submit it takes me back to the login screen. After I login again I have to retype everything out. It happens nearly every time and it’s super annoying.

Anybody else having this problem? This has been happening for quite a long time.

This happens now to me and is getting worse.Select anything and it asks for a log in. Where is private browsing selected?

Just learn how to use your ipad. As for myself, I want to use private browsing on ipad to not mess up my browsing history on desktop, which means I need to login to DUC many times a day, but the wonderful password management of Apple things helps me out.

Two people are telling us about this problem.
I just checked on my ipad, logging in, logging out. No problem. Never a problem on the mac.

Are you both using iPads?
Version 13.?

Could this be a another quirk of the aging DUC, which does have them?

No problem either yet for me on iPad with Safari or Chrome. iPadOS 13.5.1

To Dave S. I assume you are using Safari. And as ben asked what version of iPadOS?

- Makes sure "block all cookies" is not turned on in Safari Preferences (could very well be a cause).

- Try "Clear History and Website Data"

- Try ra hard reset/reboot of the iPad

- Just curious do you have Tapatalk installed?

Just sayin' I use private browsing on my ipad and have this problem, do not use private browsing on my iphone and do not have this problem. You can recognise private browsing mode from the black URL field

Safari on iPad 13.6 iOS.
Block all cookies is not turned on nor is private mode.
I clear my history and data pretty regularly.
I don’t have Tapatalk installed.
I’ll have to try the old reboot next time it happens. Which it just did again even after trying to post this.

This happens to me all the time on 10.5” iPad Pro using Firefox in regular browser mode.

Yes, do not jump to conclusions. It’s been happening for years.

Yeah, I started doing the same. Haven’t posted in a while and just forgot it does this. I just wanted to make sure there wasn’t something I was missing but it looks like it’s a bug since obviously other people are experiencing this too.
