Is 2018 a free upgrade from Recent 12 owners?
I just purchased Pro Tools 12 in December of 2017, surely I must be qualified for an upgrade?
I can't seem to find 2018 in my AVID account anywhere though. I've been out of the loop for a few months, I just realized PT 2018 is a thing now, can anyone catch me up?

If you bought it in Dec 2017, you should be under your first year of your plan and so would be covered.
It's in your My Avid account under My Products and Subscriptions. Find your Pro Tools version (even if it is labeled Pro Tools 12) and click the arrow to show all the downloads. "2018" is just a new naming scheme for Pro Tools 12 -- it falls under the same software group.

There are also other updates to download which have an 18 prefix. I also have Reverb 1 and Tel-Ray and they both have updates as well.
