Default Avid Support Question...

Hey there.

What is a normal response time to hear back from Avid regarding a Pro Tools renewal issue?

Created a case on January 14 of this year.

Just waiting to hear back - and don't want to bug them until I know what a normal response time is...

Thanks,

Sparky

Hey Sparks

Nice to see you back here again. So did you get a support case number? What is the question you want answered as we can probably help you quickly here ln the forum if we have the info needed to do so.

Let us know if you need any assistance. Usual response time have been maybe within 48hrs or less in our experience.

Hi Christopher.
Thanks for looking into this.

My case number is 03630809

I recently purchased a renewal code for Pro Tools from Vintage King Audio.

When I went to apply the code - it let me apply the code in the “Activate Code” page - then directed me to another page where I wasn’t able to apply the code.

I think I may have discovered the problem tonight as I tried to figure this out a bit more on my own.

It looks like I let my Pro Tools licence expire and may not have renewed in time. Does this seem like something that might cause this?

If this problem is directly related to me not paying attention to expiry dates - would appreciate suggestions as to what you would recommend my next steps would be to get back on board...

Thanks,

Sparky

I will escalate this and see what has happened.

When did your plan expire exact date and when did you buy the renewal code?

Looks like it expired on Dec 11, 2018

My code was purchased on December 29, 2018

Really appreciate you taking the time to look into this.

Thanks,

Sparky
