No playback in video window - Video Window Remains black
I havenīt been able to sync audio to video in Pro Tools 2020.3 because after I import a video file into the session the video window only shows a black screen. Even after starting playback.
Iīm not getting any error messages. The program loads fine, as well as the video engine. I can even start playback and the program will reproduce the audio from the imported video. The video track shows thumbnails for the imported video. Everything seems to work properly except for the video window. IT REMAINS BLACK DURING PLAYBACK. So far I have tried: -Importing different videos with diferent codecs like: -H.254 -Apple Pro Res -DNxHD -Uninstalling every AVID file from my computer and reinstaling Pro Tools and it didnīt solve the problem. -Trashing the Pro Tools preferences - Reseting the PC and Reinstalling Windows, Before Reinstalling Pro Tools 2020.3 Here is some information about my system: Lenovo Thinkpad P52 Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8750H CPU @ 2.20GHz 2.21GHz Installed RAM: 64.0 GB Video card: NVIDIA Quadro P1000 Driver Version: 442.74 Driver Type: Standard Windows 10 64bit I have been using asio4all 2.14 as the playback engine. This problem is very inconvenient as I intend to use Pro Tools for Video Post Production. I appreciate any ideas yo may have as to how to solve this. |
