Default C24 Not as advertised spec

I am writing to share my findings with you guys. I have read a lot of positive things on the subject of C24 on here, and whilst I agree that its tactile control of PT is great, I am extremely dissapointed in the analog "centre section" on this product. I had one of the first in the uk on demo and immediately I noticed the outputs were drastically quiter than on PT itself. I made my comments at the time both to digi and my dealer and was assured that my ordered unit would be ok. When it arrived guess what? I measured it on a neutrik and found the outputs were 19db down on PTs own outs. This is substantial and unuseable in a professional envioroment. Im told via digi that someone ordered the spec to be changed without changing the advertised spec as "they didnt want people blowing their speakers" ???? I have heard some laughable things in my time but this is ridiculous and digi should be ashamed of themselves for misleading its users. I for one have not got what I bought and paid for. Not only is the C24 not +4db as advertised but it isn't even -10! I am currently bypassing the centre section completely which is an unsatisfactory state of affairs. I have been told that a firmware update needs to be done in order to address the problem but as yet no timescale has been given. I saw some comments on this, in early C24 postings and have kept digi informed throughout. It would be nice if they could recipricate.

Over to you Digi..... [email protected]
